Kim Victoria Cattrall born 21 August 1956, is a British Canadian actress. Best known for the role as Samantha Jones in the HBO Sex and the City series in which she was nominated for five Emmy Awards and four Golden Globe Award, winning the Golden Globe 2002 for the most outstanding supporting actress. Between 2008 and 2010, she reprised the role in the film Sex and the City and Sex and the City 2. She is also known for her roles in the movies Porky's and the Porky's of 1980 as well as her role as a character in Police Academy Big Trouble Little China Mannequin. Kim Cattrall will be remembered for her performance as Samantha Jones in the HBO sitcom Sex & the City. Cattrall has made a name for herself as an actress. The role she played as Samantha Jones was one of the most recognizable roles she played. It was not only popular with viewers in her native country however, it led to her becoming a world-renowned star. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. She is best known for her role in La Dolce Vita, a comedy drama. The film won an Oscar as well as the Golden Palm at the Cannes Film Festival in 1960 and was also a commercial and critical success. Born in Sweden in the city of Skane, she was a model prior to her acting profession. She eventually won the Miss Sweden contest. In the US her first appearance was in films with small roles. Her first appearance was on screen in Abbott and Costello Go to Mars in the role of a Venusian. Then, shortly after, her role on the screen in Blood Alley won her the Golden Globe for Most Promising newcomer.
